I currently work as a consultant Psychiatrist and Neuropsychiatry specialist. Me along with my paramedical and psychosocial team are involved in the complex neuropsychiatric care of patients who present to the institute.

My areas of interest includes Adult & Geriatric Psychiatry, Deaddiction Psychiatry, & Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. During my post graduate medical training in Psychiatry, I have come across a variety of cases pertaining to various aspects of child, adult and geriatric psychiatry. I had the opportunity to get trained in some of the prestigious institutions in the country, like NIMHANS Bangalore, and CMC Vellore. I have undergone specialised training in Neurology at MMC Chennai and Forensic Psychiatry at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) Chennai. I have gained special expertise in managing cases associated with Grief, Anxiety, Depression and Mood disorders and expertise in managing behavioural changes associated with Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Epilepsy, Post traumatic head injury or accidents. My aim is to utilise my knowledge and skill to integrate various biological, psychological and social aspects in the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of various mental disorders in people across all ages. I help people to live their lives with utmost joy!
